NTSW 2026 - Current Students
October 19-23, 2026
The National Resource Center (NRC) for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition describes National Transfer Student Week (NTSW) as a time that, "shines a light on the students who navigate new campuses and communities, carrying their learning and determination from one college to the next. It’s a moment to recognize transfer students, as well as the faculty and staff who support them along the way." https://sc.edu/about/offices_and_divisions/national_resource_center/events/ntsw/index.php
We’re excited to celebrate our transfer students—those joining UNM Albuquerque from other colleges and universities—and our branch transition students—those continuing their journey from another UNM campus—along with the staff and faculty who champion their success. During the week of October 19–23, we’ll be hosting events and activities designed to honor your achievements, support your growth, help you thrive as part of the UNM community, and give future UNM transfer and branch transition Lobos a kick start!
