National Transfer Student Week (NTSW)
October 16-20, 2023
The National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students (NISTS) describes National Transfer Student Week as a time to "celebrate transfer students and the professionals who support them on their journey." https://www.nists.org/national-transfer-student-week
This year's theme, "Full Steam Ahead" was created and described by NISTS to "clear the path to transfer success by removing barriers and obstacles and add fuel to students' journeys by connecting them to tools and supports and empowering them to proceed at their own pace." We are celebrating our transfer students (those who transfer to UNM Albuquerque from outside of they UNM system) and our transition students (those who transition to UNM Albuquerque from a different UNM campus) as well as our staff and faculty who support these students by highlighting some events at both UNM Albuquerque and other UNM campuses that will be taking place October 16th - October 20th.
