Luke Wilson

Professional Intern

About Luke Wilson:

My name is Luke Wilson, and I am a Professional Intern with the Office of Advising Strategies at the University of New Mexico. My college journey began in Lamar, Colorado, where I studied Athletic Training and played baseball at Lamar Community College, earning my Associate of Science. I later transferred to UNM and graduated in May 2023 with a B.S. in Community Health Education. My passion for helping students find their path in higher education led me to my current role, where I have had the opportunity to support multiple colleges with academic advising. Outside of work, I enjoy anything outdoor & fitness related, trying new restaurants, binge watching TV shows, and am working on a Master’s in Sports Administration.

My Role in OAS

As a Professional Intern with the Office of Advising Strategies, I assist with academic advising across various colleges at UNM. My role includes filling advising vacancies around campus and guiding students in their academic journey. For Spring 2025, I am excited to be working with the College of Arts & Sciences.
