About Hope Widmayer:

Hope grew up in a small New Hampshire town. After graduating from high school early and spending a gap year traveling, they attended Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. There, they studied visual art, photography, and creative writing. Three years ago, they moved to Albuquerque and quickly found community in the MFA program at UNM. Though not a candidate themself, it was through these friends and collaborators that they fell in love with UNM's campus and its vibrant culture.

Outside of work, Hope spends their time casually birdwatching, sewing, and making art. Also, they are forever working their way through an ever-growing tower of library books.
