Dual Credit Advising

DUAL CREDIT ADVISING

Dual Credit Advisor

Students meet one-on-one with the Dual Enrollment Coordinator where the coordinator and student work  to create an academic plan that works with their current high school schedule, meets academic needs for completing core curriculum course and helps prepare students for matriculation into college. In addition, they have a working knowledge of all UNM undergraduate degrees and programs to provide college planning and alternative options for future courses.

Continuing Students

  • Dual Credit students can not retake a class for grade improvement.
  • Students must obtain a 2.0 in their UNM courses to continue as a dual credit student.
  • All fees are billed from the UNM Bursars office.  Dual Credit office does not take payment for fees.

Dual Credit Textbooks for APS High School Students

Library Services will provide APS high school students with the required textbook(s) for each class a student enrolls in at either UNM. We do not provide supplemental, suggested, or recommended textbooks or supplies. All of the dual credit textbooks are APS property and students must return the textbooks back to Library Services when they change, drop, or complete a dual credit class.
